T-Bone has done several tattos for me, my family and associates. His work has always been over the top amazing.
It is very unfortunate you have had this happen being that it is of course... permanent, but as a side note... In business you learn that some people will bitch, blame and complain and will never be happy no matter what you do... I am sure you are not one of those 20%... anyway, good luck with your solution.

Hi.

I am from Holland. I have read your blog.
I have a stereo set from the end 70.
I was a soldier in that time in Germany and I bought it over there.
Now I want to sell the set.
But I had a look for the Technics SL-1300 MK2.
I sames very rare.
About two years ago, I have used it to bring my old LP's to my computer but now there are more easy USB pick ups for that purpose.
But my SL-1300MK2 is still good working and there are no problems.
The only thing I did when I started record my LP's two years ago, I bought a new element with a new needle.
We have in Holland a kind of Ebay called Marktplaats.nl
My question is what is a good working Technics SL-1300 MK2 worth those days?
Is the 1300 MK2 better then the 1200 series because from the 1200 series I see a lot on Marktplaats but there is not one like my SL-1300 MK2.
Do you have any indication what price I could ask for it.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards Frans

Meine Hochachtung Joel.

Personally I'm sick of how quickly the gay community turned on Obama. I agree, some of his decisions have disappointed me, BUT there has also been some reasons for some.

For example, Obama is getting ready to tackle health care. He need support from both sides to get this through. I've read that Obama is trying not to antagonize the Repubs prior to getting this passed. Is that right? NO! Is that politics? Unfortunately yet. While I would like to see DADT redacted and civil unions established, I honestly believe health care is the bigger issue right now. I've done this long without civil unions. I can go a bit longer if it means health care for all Americans.

ALSO, regarding the Obama administration asking the Supreme Court not to hear the DADT case, there was a reason for that. The court right now is still stacked conservatively. If the court established that DADT was legal, then it would be that much harder for Obama to redact it. Yes, all he needs to do is issue an executive order, but by doing so he would be going directly against a SCOTUS ruling. Can you imagine how that would play out? The conservatives would be all over that claiming Obama was abusing his power by reversing a SCOTUS decision. Again, Obama would be on the right side of the issue, but by asking the court not to here this case, he avoided having to be put in that position altogether.

Keep in mind Obama has been in office less than six months. I think it's a bit early to judge him. The gay community could stand to learn a little patience and pragmatism. I believe change will come, but it doesn't just happen overnight.

Just my 2¢.
